    Patrick H. Boles
Patrick H. Boles was born in Owosso, Michigan and grew up in the
nearby town of Corunna. He arrived in the Southwest courtesy of the
U. S. Air Force when he was assigned to a base in Albuquerque, N.M.
Pat received a
B.S. Degree in biology from Eastern New Mexico
University and a M.S. Degree, also in biology from New Mexico State
University. He has worked as a biologist, ecologist, and
land manager
for government agencies in Wyoming, New Mexico, and Arizona             
                                                                                                                         
     He is a
Range Biologist with over 20 years of experience in
conducting range inventories in Arizona that included mapping
(fence/boundary lines, range improvements, etc), baseline and  trend
data collection, establishing photo points, ranch management
planning, plant identification (including poisonous or noxious weed
problems), and mapping. Management plans routinely included detailed
mapping of ranches, showing accurately the locations of all buildings,
stock tanks, wells, fences, etc. With the use of topographic maps and
GPS devices. His knowledge of Arizona"s natural resources and field
skills allows him to work
quickly and efficiently in providing sevice for
clients of
Murphy Livestock. While out one client;s ranches he would
be happy to answer any range related questions. He could also
provide
input for anyone who is interested in pasturing cattle by
evaluating the prospective range, potential poisonous or noxious
weed problems, etc. He is able to provide expert advice on such topic
as range condition, carrying capacity, and identification of range
plants. Pat has done range management work for ranch owners who
need information for establishing a carry capacity of a ranch based on
the condition of its rangeland / forage base and evaluated the condition
of the serious range improvements.                                                            
                                                                                                                         
             Pat lives in Prescott in north central Arizona with his wife.
They have two grown children. He has worked with the majority of the
ranchers in Yavapai and Mojave Counties as well as others scattered
over the state on land management issues and projects He has lived in
Arizona since 1984
